What is Sri Sri Yoga?
The Sri Sri Yoga Course is designed as a beautiful introduction to yoga asanas (postures), pranayams (breathing techniques), meditation, and yoga guidelines to lead a healthy, happy and harmonious life. Over the six days of the course, you will be initiated into a set of yoga postures that are specifically designed to bring balance, peace and lightness to your life.
At the end of the course, you will have a personalized yoga practice to take home with you to do every day. The combination of postures, breathing and meditation creates a strong foundation for well-being and enormous personal growth.
Some of the key elements of the course are:
* Gentle yet powerful series of yoga postures * Proper breathing methods * Meditative relaxation methods * Proper diet * Principles of yoga applied to daily life * Wisdom from Ayurveda * Yoga practice tailor-made to your ayurvedic constitution
Full participation is required every day for six days. Come on a light/empty stomach and comfortable clothes to do yoga. Bring yoga mat, water bottle, a pillow, a small blanket and a big smile!

Experiences of Participants from Previous Courses
I have practiced regularly during the 4 weeks of the course, and I notice the calmness it brings throughout the day. The 2 days I missed my practice because of work commitments - I could see the difference - I felt much more tired. Also, I could experience the benefits of yoga practice even while just sitting on a chair... just sitting on a chair the body feels so good and comfortable. I plan to do the teacher's training course and become a yoga teacher. -- Anand Raj.
I have done many yoga courses but this is the only course where the yoga practice is tailor-made based on one's body type. I noticed that I am more aware of my posture during the day. The instructor was able to inspire me to keep up my practice at home, and I will definitely continue my practice after the course. -- Subhashini Raj.
The excerpts on the wisdom from Yoga were very inspirational. This course went beyond just body exercises. It broadened my outlook on health and well being. -- Patsy Wu.
My sleep is better on days when I do yoga. In fact, I do not need sleeping pills. -- Wildred Eaton.
